The Pink Films International Studios, one of seven subsidiary companies of the Pink Media Group, among the major and the most powerful private commercial media groups in Europe, celebrates seven years of success. The PFI is one of the most modern film complexes in Europe, singled out by being planned and developed according to the US filming complexes concept, set up pursuant to the ultimate Hollywood studios’ standards, with the latest hi-tech equipment. When the PFI Studios development began in 2008, such type of studio did not exist in this part of Europe. Luc Besson, Guy Pearce, John Cusack, Salma Hayek are some of the world-renowned stars that had recorded in the PFI Studios.
The PFI Studios – One of the Largest and the Most Modern Film Complexes in Europe
The PFI Studios, one of the most impressive complexes in Europe, encompasses eight film studios in the complex, with production annexes, three costume, production design and prop workshops, film equipment storage, administrative building with additional production capacities, and one of the largest backlots in Europe, covering the exterior sets for filming scenes outside the studio, spreading over twelve hectares.
The Highest Film Studio in the World
The PFI differs from the other studios due to its production annexes within each building – every individual studio encompasses production offices, suites for actors, makeup rooms, and other necessary production premises.
Two of the studios, namely studio number 2 and studio number 3 have the greatest film studio height in the world – sixteen meters of clear height to the working pathways, with the customary studio height throughout the world being twelve and a half meters.
Cooperation with the Greatest Names in the Global Film Industry
The PFI had participated in numerous, both global and regional projects. Many of the world-renowned stars had filmed in the PFI filming complex capacities. Guy Pierce & Maggie Grace had filmed “Lockout”, John Cusack & Luke Evans “The Raven”, Jessica Lange, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton, Oscar Isaac “In Secret”, Selma Hayek filmed “Everly”, and Natalie Dormer & Taylor Kinney “The Forest”. As for domestic films, segments of first and second part of “Montevideo Bog te video” was filmed in the PFI, as well as parts of “Bicemo prvaci sveta” series.
The First Film in the PFI Capacities – Produced by Luc Besson
The PFI had started its operation in 2009, with one of the first movies filmed in the PFI capacities being science fiction produced by Luc Besson’s “Europacorp” company, with Luc Besson being a producer, and the production services in Serbia being rendered by the domestic production company “Work in Progress”.
High Global Standards of the PFI Company Services
The PFI offers the high global standards of comprehensive production services for large and small projects and production companies, and had filmed several domestic hits under its own production, including “Promeni me”, “Čitulja za Eskobara” and “Četvrti čovek”.
The development of studio number 1, the largest one, is being planned, with five thousand square meters of studio floor, two thousand square meters of production annex, and clear studio height of eighteen meters, which would exceed the height of studios 2 and 3.
Supporting Young Film Students
The PFI fosters years of cooperation and support for the domestic film schools and universities. The students regularly visit the PFI Studios. Thus far, the PFI had supported numerous projects and met the needs of the students’ filming achievements.
The Pink Television Formats Filmed in the PFI Studios Break the Viewership Records
The Pink Television again verifies the reason for its twenty-two years of leadership in this part of Europe – millions of viewers enjoy numerous TV formats in the program schedule of the commercial television with the greatest viewership in Serbia. “Pinkove Zvezdice” and “Pinkove Zvezde” are breaking all viewership records, with another show programs pushing the boundaries, invoking unprecedented media attention, is “Ja imam talenat” talent show.
The Pink Television continues to offer numerous surprises in the new season – broadcasting of the most successful dating formats ever “Take me out.“
“Kulinarski rulet” will provide daily ideas for the ladies of the house how to quickly and simply use the produce at hand to make a tasty lunch, for the entire family to enjoy. Apart from the prime time Pink Television formats, program offers the favorite TV shows, such as “Premijera”, Magazin In”, “Nedeljno popodne kod Lee Kiš”, “Ami G Show”, “DNK”, “Ja to tako”, “Paparazzo lov.”
